PS is based on the traditional mechanical steering system, according to the torque signal on the steering wheel and the driving speed signal of the car, the electronic control device is used to make the motor generate auxiliary power of the corresponding size and direction to assist the driver in the steering operation. Specifically, when the driver is steering the steering wheel, the torque sensor detects the steering wheel and the magnitude of the torque, and sends the voltage signal to the electronic control unit. The distance voltage signal, rotation direction and vehicle speed signal, etc., send instructions to the motor controller, so that the motor outputs the steering assist torque of the corresponding size and direction, thereby generating auxiliary power. When the car does not turn, the electronic control unit does not send instructions to the motor controller, and the motor does not work.
